A dog portrait only comes into being with complete freedom
I don't often create a dog portrait on commission.
In fact, it's quite rare.
Why? Because I only have one condition: complete carte blanche.
As soon as there are many suggestions, corrections, or small instructions, I feel it grates. Creativity needs space. Trust. Freedom. Only then can a unique painted portrait emerge that isn't meek—but alive.
