[Quora] The phrase like “As above, so below” is used by writers and astrologers alike to explain why and how the world works.

The concept implies that the visible stars in the sky are linked to life on earth, and that the microcosm and the macrocosm are connected. The human world is related to the larger universe. Everything is connected.

Where did this expression originate? Literature heavily credits the saying to Hermes, an Olympian god in Greek mythology.

Poimandres teaches the secrets of the universe to Hermes. In later chapters, Hermes teaches others, such as his son Tat and Asclepius. The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus is a short work which contains a phrase that is well known in occult circles: "As above, so below."[Wikipedia]

The saying means that man is an unfinished world that only partially mirrors the neighboring cosmoses. Man, therefore needs to look upward that he may learn to look downward - beginning with himself. As above, so below.

Binnen 5 werkdagen (met uitzondering va plexiglas) leveren wij de art prints.
Om het milieu te beschermen en economisch te werken, printen we onze ontwerpen alleen op aanvraag, daarom slaan we onze kunst niet op. Elk canvas ondergaat een gepersonaliseerde kwaliteitscontrole die niet mogelijk is als we onze ontwerpen al op voorraad hadden.

Om deze reden bieden we alleen restituties aan om de volgende redenen:

Opmerking: gepersonaliseerde kunstwerken kunnen niet worden gerestitueerd.

Let op: Annuleren is alleen mogelijk tot 1 uur na aankoop. We printen tot 100 ontwerpen per dag, daarom is annuleren na deze periode niet mogelijk.

In order to protect the environment and to operate economically, we only print our designs on demand hence we do not store our art. Each canvas will go through a personalized quality control which won't be possible if we had our designs already in stock.

Due to this reason we only offer refunds for the following reasons:

Streaking/ Banding
Ink scratches or spits
Damaged in transit

Breuker Concepts is not responsible for shipping delays of any sort except damage or loss. In case of a loss, we will send you a brand new canvas at our cost. If you like to register a flaw, please contact us immediately and no later than 2 days after the delivery. We will send you a replacement canvas or refund the paid amount via Credit Card, PayPal or a Gift Card.
